Jimmy and Barry Sime have together over 50 years experience of competing successfully in motor sport events and have coached and instructed many drivers over the years, increasingly so in recent years, including recent British and Scottish Champions.
Jimmy is a current S Grade ARDS instructor (as well as being a former International race MSA licence holder) and Barry holds an A grade ARDS instructor licence, together with a Professional International C Race (and National A Kart) MSA licence.
We regularly instruct at Croft and Knockhill circuits, however are qualified to work at any licensed circuit in the UK and Europe.
We also work directly for manufacturers and have helped launch contemporary cars such as the BMW one series, Ford Mondeo ST220, Vauxhall VX220 and Renault Megane 225.
Barry recently drove the ultimate hire car – a Koenigsegg CC8S for Rio Prestige which is a whopping 710bhp monster capable of 242 mph – around the twists and turns of Knockhill for a promotional event.
